We are rooted in history

The Cabin was established in 1934 and boasts one of the first liquor licenses in the area following the historic repealment of prohibition. Many stories are held in The Cabin’s wooden walls. Legend has it that the Purple Gang out of Detroit may have used this location for bootlegging back in the day.

Today, The Cabin is a community staple for delicious food and a great time, featuring fan-favorite menu items like jalepeño bread and weekly entertainment including trivia and karaoke. The Hunter family has owned and operated the restaurant since 2003 and is the third family to run The Cabin since its doors first opened nearly a century ago.
